Government contracting information. Conduct research and fact-finding activities to support due diligence assessments related to national security implications, competition impacts, supply chain access risks, and effects on existing or future DoD programs and contracts. Assist in preparing case summaries, risk assessments, analytic reports, and briefings describing methodologies, datasets, analysis, findings, and potential recommendations.
Support coordination with DoD stakeholders to collect and consolidate comments, gather relevant information, and assist in developing DoD perspectives on pending M A transactions. Assist with collaboration and information exchanges with antitrust agencies, including the Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), during merger investigations and reviews. Track and organize multiple concurrent cases and analytic inputs while supporting senior analysts in evaluating companies across multiple investment tiers.
Assist in monitoring transactions following HSR review to identify potential emerging risks to the Department. Support oversight and monitoring activities related to Consent Orders or similar agreements affecting the Defense Industrial Base. Assist with compliance monitoring activities, including preparing materials for stakeholder meetings and supporting site visits to evaluate transaction implementation and mitigation measures.
Collaborate with investment analysts, legal counsel, transaction parties, and other government stakeholders to support the M A review process. Assist in preparing leadership materials including case summaries, action memoranda, and talking points for senior DoD officials. Provide research and analytical support for the development or update of DoD directives, instructions, or policy guidance related to merger review or outbound investment processes.
Contribute research and analytic support to emerging policy issues involving mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, investments, and strategic alliances affecting the DIB. Required Qualifications
Active TS/SCI eligible clearance Bachelor’s Degree.
