Job Overview AEVEX is seeking a Logistics Driver (CDL) responsible for the safe, timely, and compliant transportation of materials, components, and finished products between company facilities, suppliers, and customer locations. This role ensures the integrity and security of all transported items, with a strong emphasis on handling sensitive and high-value aerospace equipment.

This role also supports compliance with AS9100 standards by maintaining accurate documentation, ensuring traceability of materials, and preserving chain of custody throughout transport. This position works closely with warehouse, receiving, and logistics teams to coordinate pickups and deliveries, verify shipment documentation, and ensure materials are properly handled, loaded, and delivered in the same condition as received. Essential Functions Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport materials, components, and finished goods between company facilities, suppliers, and customer locations.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and ensure compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety policies. Load, secure, and unload cargo using appropriate material handling equipment, ensuring proper load securement to prevent damage during transit. Verify shipments against delivery documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, and transfer records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Ensure all materials are transported and delivered in the same condition as received, reporting any damage, discrepancies, or delays. Coordinate with warehouse, receiving, and logistics personnel to ensure timely pickup and delivery of materials. Accurately complete and submit delivery logs, inspection reports, and transportation documentation.

Exceptional driving and parking skills with extensive knowledge of traffic laws. Working knowledge of DOT regulations, including vehicle inspections, load securement, and hours-of-service rules. Ability to operate forklifts and material handling equipment; certification preferred or ability to obtain.
Ability to troubleshoot and fix minor vehicle issues. , bills of lading, delivery receipts). Familiarity with AS9100 principles, including documentation accuracy and traceability.
