Talent is universal, but opportunity is not. Without proper care, the biases and barriers job seekers face can be reinforced or amplified by AI. Appropriate controls and oversight, including compliance with JobMinglr’s privacy policy, are essential for the success of AI systems and the protection of job seekers. We are committed to fairness and equity in our products, ensuring that AI benefits job seekers and building a diverse and representative team.
Addressing Hiring Inequalities
Globally, individuals encounter barriers and unfair biases in the hiring process. As a leading job platform, we aim to leverage our technology, expertise, and reach to eliminate these biases and ensure everyone has access to quality employment. We are dedicated to helping 30 million job seekers facing bias and barriers secure jobs by 2030.
Listen and Learn
A commitment to fairness and equity requires nuance, expertise, and dedication. These concepts are highly contextual and vary across cultures. There is no single definition of fairness or equity. We use both quantitative and qualitative data to rigorously evaluate our products' fairness from initial design onward, incorporating the lived experiences of job seekers. We understand that learning is a journey and that this work is never finished.

AI offers opportunities to augment, assist, and support people in their work. However, hiring is fundamentally a human process, and humans will always play vital roles in job seeking and hiring. Decisions about jobs and hiring are among the most important in people’s lives, and we aim to preserve the human element while improving and simplifying the experience of finding the right job or candidate.
Innovate Responsibly
The rapid development of AI has opened many exciting new opportunities for job seekers and employers. However, responsible innovation requires care, consideration, and clear-eyed assessment. Our systems must be accountable for their outcomes, transparent in their impact, and well-governed with robust security and safety measures. They must respect human rights and carefully consider the risks and potential benefits. We welcome open dialogue about the uses of AI in job seeking, advertising, and hiring.
Responsible AI at JobMinglr
JobMinglr’s cross-functional Responsible AI team builds tools, systems, and processes that advance responsible and inclusive technology. Team members contribute to the development of machine learning and AI systems, from responsible design to ongoing model monitoring.
We advocate for industry-wide action and embed best practices across the HR tech industry, starting with tools for teams at JobMinglr. We have participated in workshops with industry leaders to discuss best practices and ethical technology and engaged with policymakers on legislative and regulatory proposals around AI, including the National Institute of Standards and Technology’s AI Risk Management Framework.
