As a Project Manager at Absher, you’ll take ownership of project delivery from preconstruction through closeout. You’ll lead and support your team to ensure quality, safety, and profitability while building trusted relationships with clients, design partners, and subcontractors.

You may work in collaboration with a Senior Project Manager or Project Executive depending on project scale.

What You’Ll Do

Lead project execution to ensure successful delivery, financial performance, and team coordination Oversee project startup, scheduling, change management, safety planning, quality control, and closeout Manage relationships with owners, design partners, and subcontractors Supervise and mentor project engineers and other staff Review design documents for compliance with contract, standards, and constructability Participate in preconstruction tasks including planning, estimating, and schedule development Monitor and resolve conflicts or issues in the field in a proactive, solution-oriented manner Lead design-build projects for education and/or K-12 clients, partnering closely with architects, engineers, and owners from early design through construction Navigate school-specific

You thrive on managing teams, solving challenges, and delivering projects that matter. What You Bring: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field, or equivalent field experience Proven project management experience in commercial construction You're comfortable working in design-build environments and know how to guide early decisions that balance budget, schedule, and educational program needs Skilled in value engineering, design coordination, scheduling, and change order negotiation Strong relationship-building skills with owners, architects, and trade partners Commitment to a safety-first culture and inclusive team environment Familiarity with construction management platforms (e.

g., Procore) a plus Note: Absher is a Federal Contractor. All job offers are contingent upon successful completion of a background check and drug screen.

Salary offers are typically made between the entry and midpoint of the range and are based on factors such as experience, education, and internal equity.

Pay Transparency

$120,000 — $150,000 USD Background Check & Pre-Employment Screening All offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment background check and drug screening. Background checks may include verification of employment history, education, criminal records, and references. For positions with access to company financial accounts or credit card programs, a credit history check may also be conducted.

All screening is conducted in compliance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and applicable state and local laws. Candidates will be asked to provide written consent prior to any screening. If results include information that may affect a hiring decision, candidates will have the opportunity to review and respond to the findings before a final decision is made.
