Telephone Business Development Manager

As a Telephone Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in driving mortgage lending growth by developing and strengthening relationships with broker and distributor partners across your allocated territory. Working closely with the field-based Business Development Manager, you will proactively engage with existing and prospective intermediaries, promoting the Bank’s products and propositions to generate new business opportunities. Deliver agreed lending and activity targets by providing proactive telephone-based support and relationship management to broker and distributor partners.

Develop and grow intermediary relationships, identifying opportunities to increase market awareness, business volumes and territory performance. Identify and onboard new broker relationships to support the continued growth and development of the Bank’s distribution network. Promote the Bank’s products, proposition, and brand through regular engagement with intermediaries, industry events, meetings and roadshows.

Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to share market insights, support product development, and contribute to the achievement of business objectives. Previous experience in a mortgage related sales or account management role is advantageous. Intermediate level skills in Microsoft Word and Excel are essential.

Intermediate knowledge of the mortgage market (products and regulation) is advantageous. Intermediate knowledge of mortgage distribution routes is desirable.
