Job Overview The Systems Engineering team is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to own the integration of our Range Extender (internal combustion engine (ICE), generator and inverter) system into our EV architecture. In this role, you will coordinate the mechanical integration, controls, and regulatory compliance for the Range Extender system. You will not only ensure the engine runs smoothly and charges the high-voltage battery efficiently but also lead the critical pathway to CARB OBD II certification.

You will manage a mix of in-house testing and outsourced engineering partners to ensure our vehicles are legal, reliable, and drivable.

What You Will Do

: Lead the systems integration of the Range Extender into the vehicle chassis and high-voltage architecture. Perform engine and vehicle calibration to balance drivability (NVH), thermal management, fuel efficiency and emissions. Define functional

for the range extender operation strategy to maintain HV Battery SOC. Troubleshoot system integration issues between the ICE, Generator, Inverter, and Vehicle Systems. Develop and own the OBD Certification Roadmap to ensure compliance with CARB 1968.
